This apartment, located in the heart of Copenhagen, was designed as an expression of our New Nordic architecture focus.

This apartment was a renovation project, located in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. In this project the architecture team maximized the open spaces of the common areas and created a mezzanine that brought an ultra-modern touch to the apartment.
The slanted walls are very typical for a centenary building in Denmark, and the multifunctional balconies in the dining area maximized the natural light in the interiors and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views of the historical canal.
The mezzanine was designed to be functional and a gorgeous skylight was added to enhance the space features with natural light.
The interior materials were carefully selected and inspired in the New Nordic Movement and Laengsel´s collection fit exquisitely in each one of the spaces.

In the Nordics, the importance of social life and the “hyggelig gathering” for celebration is deep-rooted in the culture. We named this beautiful piece Akvavit Bar Cabinet to pay our tribute to the National Spirit of Scandinavia.
The brand signature is well present in this elegant piece through the characteristic wooden slats, the creased lines and the smooth architectural design. All in perfect harmony with the necessary functionalities of a bar cabinet, evidencing 2 shelves with bottle storage height and depth for larger objects and the lower shelve for smaller objects such as glasses.
